919 Foundation

The 919 Foundation was started at the request of Michael E. Cram, when he was diagnosed with Cancer.  Mike served for 30 years in the Army National Guard, deploying to Iraq twice and once to Afghanistan. When he wasn’t wearing an Army uniform, he was wearing a badge. Mike rose to the rank of Police Lieutenant over a 25 year career serving Vermont as a Law Enforcement Officer.

Mike Cram died of prostate cancer on December 2017. His family used $50,000 of his life insurance policy to create the 919 Foundation; 919 was Mike's call number. The foundation goal is helping kids with cancer.  On July 5th 2018, the 919 Foundation made a $15,000.00 donation to Camp Ta-Kum-Ta. Camp Ta-Kum-Ta is a summer camp for kids who have or had cancer.
